The twin Tone bars are an integral part of the body sculpting, providing a solid mounting platform for the bridge, while eliminating the traditional "block" under the bridge and pick-ups. This design also allows the top to vibrate freely for optimum clarity, offering the sweet, singing sustain of a semi-hollow design, as well as the focused attack and articulation of a solid-body guitar.

The reverse taper of the top naturally inhibits feedback and other artifacts. The neck joint is hand-carved, with an inverse heel design providing natural, comfortable access to the upper frets. The Virage body is carved from a single block of hand-selected wood to provide excellent tonal characteristics. Whether you play sitting or standing, Virage's ergonomic 3-D contour provides unparalleled balance and comfort.

The advanced MaxConnect aluminum bridge features extended saddle travel for flawless intonation with any gauge string. Our VOX DiMarzio Three-90 pickups were custom designed to provide Virage with an extended array of tonal colours-both classic and modern. Each triple-coil pick-up offers clean, crunch and lead tones. Yet each mode is hum-cancelling and whisper-quiet. The switching system is intuitive and rugged, delivering years of on-the-fly changes. CTS Master Volume and Tone controls employ premium capacitors for smooth operation and long life.
